Everyone who sees Nike prices in Turkey asks the same question. The reason is simple: in Turkey, special consumption tax, VAT, and import duties nearly double the price of the product. In America these taxes do not exist. There is only 0-10% state sales tax depending on the state.
There is also the competition factor: in America, Nike has hundreds of outlet stores, and Foot Locker, Finish Line, Amazon, and other retailers are constantly running sales. In Turkey, competition is not at this level.

The best prices are here. Nike Factory Stores are found in outlet malls all across America. They sell 30-60% below normal price. The downside: stock changes constantly, and the model or size you want may not always be there.

Nike products are available on Amazon but be careful: third-party sellers can sell counterfeit products. Select ones that say "Sold by Amazon.com" or "Sold by Nike."

- Limited edition models: Resale prices are usually above the original price. Buy for need, not as an investment
- Return policy: If you bought from Nike.com, you have a 30-day return window. At outlets this period may be shorter
